Emergent Hadron Mass in Strong Dynamics

چکیده
Emergent Hadron Mass (EHM) is a mechanism capable of explaining both the unnaturally small (pion) and large (proton) masses hadrons if not origin confinement, then intimately connected with it. Even though modern formulation EHM has only recently been completed, it rapidly becoming fundamental focus for future experimental efforts aimed at understanding strong force within Standard Model. Using Dyson–Schwinger equations gluon, ghost quark propagators, I will introduce main concepts illustrate how far this framework can take us in interaction phenomenology.

Emergent Gravitational Dynamics In
We discuss a toy model for an emergent non-relativistic gravitational theory. Within a certain class of Bose–Einstein condensates, it is possible to show that, in a suitable regime, a modified version of non-relativistic Newtonian gravity does effectively describes the low energy dynamics of the coupled system condensate/quasi-particles.
متن کاملGauge boson mass generation–without Higgs–in the scalar strong interaction hadron theory
It is shown that the gauge boson mass is naturally generated–without Higgs–in the pion beta decay using the scalar strong interaction hadron theory. This mass generation is made possible by the presence of relative time between quarks in the pion in a fully Lorentz covariant formalism.

Spin effects in exclusive and inclusive reactions provide an essential new dimension for testing QCD and unraveling hadron structure. Remarkable new experiments from SLAC, HERMES (DESY), and Jefferson Lab present many challenges to theory, including measurements at HERMES and SMC of the single spin asymmetries in ep→ e′πX where the proton is polarized normal to the scattering plane. This type o...
متن کاملParallel Strong-Strong/Strong-Weak Simulations of Beam-Beam Interaction in Hadron Accelerators
In this paper, we present the results of using a parallel computational tool, BeamBeam3D, developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, for strong-strong/strong-weak modeling of the beam-beam effects in three hadron accelerators: RHIC, Tevatron and LHC. This tool calculates self-consistently the electromagnetic beam-beam forces for arbitrary distributions and separation during each collis...

A large repertoire of spatiotemporal activity patterns in the brain is the basis for adaptive behaviour. Understanding the mechanism by which the brains hundred billion neurons and hundred trillion synapses manage to produce such a range of cortical configurations in a flexible manner remains a fundamental problem in neuroscience. One plausible solution is the involvement of universal mechanism...
